Rabbi Eryn London

Rabbi Eryn London is a freelance Jewish educator, chaplain and rabbi living in London. She is involved with a number of projects within the UK and the global Jewish community. She is the co-author of "Kol HaLev: A Jewish Chaplain's Handbook."

She was an Oreach Fellow (2021-2022) through the Amen Institute, a fellowship uniting artists and rabbis to jointly create dvrei Torah and art for each weekly Parsha. She is also a Tzelem Fellow (2022), working and learning about social justice with rabbis and cantors from across Jewish denominations in the United Kingdom. Rabbi London also participated in the Nachum Goldmann Fellowship (Virtual-Summer 2021, France -Summer 2022).

After receiving semicha in 2017, Rabbi London worked and trained as a chaplain resident for two years at New York Presbyterian-Weill Cornell Medical Center, with a year’s specialization in palliative care. Following her two years of residency, she obtained chaplain board certification from Neshama: Association of Jewish Chaplains. Rabbi London earned a BA from Goucher College, where she majored in theatre and had a double minor in psychology and Jewish studies. She subsequently earned her MA in applied drama: theatre in educational, community and social contexts at Goldsmiths, University of London. Following her MA studies, Rabbi London made Aliyah, where she worked within various community settings, as well as studied at the Pardes Institute of Jewish Studies and spent three years studying at the Susi Bradfield Institute of Halachic Leadership. In Israel, she co-founded and co-facilitated ‘Gam Yachad’, a multi-denominational Beit Midrash for rabbinical students.

Rabbi London has taught Torah around the globe, having served as the scholar in residence at the ACT Jewish Community in Canberra Australia, as well as in various communities in Barranquilla and Medellin, Colombia. And being the rabbinic intern at the Mt. Freedom Jewish Center in New Jersey, as well as Adath Salom B’nei Israel in Chicago. Rabbi London additionally has lectured in communities and at events in Israel, Canada, Colombia, Australia, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
