The Understanding Israel Foundation will coalesce the pro-Israel voices in Trinidad &Tobago into a voting bloc, which would lobby the government of Trinidad & Tobago to forge a clearer, stronger and closer foreign policy approach regarding Israel at the government-level, as well as to deepen, expand and bring about a closer relationship with Israel. The Understanding Israel Foundation will facilitate dialogue and ties between both countries at all levels. With its education and structured programs, the Understanding Israel Foundation will counter myths and misconceptions about Israel and help bring mutual benefit to both societies.
